چکیده

In the context of global warming, heat stress has become one major factors limiting dairy cattle production. Although many methods have been explored to help cows mitigate negative effects during hot summer months, maintaining performance high-yielding under is still a great challenge. The aim this trial was investigate effect RP-GABA in diet on milk yield, composition and serum biochemical parameters heat-stressed cows. Twenty Chinese Holstein early lactation (51.00 ± 4.92 kg milk/d, 71 10.94 d 2.68 0.73 parities) were included experiment randomly divided into four groups (n = 5/group). experimental consisted control group (0 g RP-GABA/d) three treatment groups, given 5, 7.5 10 RP-GABA/d dry matter (DM) per cow, respectively. results showed that supplementing with g/d improved protein production but had no improvement other performance, alleviation cows, or immune function antioxidant capacity. Ultimately, we conclude supplementation heat-stressed, can provide degree enhancement. Furthermore, our study provides some reference for nutritional measures especially

Effects of rumen-protected γ-aminobutyric acid on feed intake, lactation performance, and antioxidative status in early lactating dairy cows.

The objective of this study was to investigate effects of rumen-protected γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) on dry matter intake, milk performance, and serum metabolites in Chinese Holstein lactating cows. Thirty-nine multiparous cows were blocked based on days in milk (60 ± 6.3 d; mean ± SD) and milk production (30.9 ± 4.17 kg; mean ± SD), and were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 treatments, with rumen-p...

Lactation performance and serum biochemistry of dairy cows fed supplemental chromium in the transition period

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of supplemental chromium on performance and blood serum biochemistry of dairy cows. Thus, 20 multiparous Holstein cows (parity 3) were equally divided into two groups, group one (control), which received no chromium supplementation and group two (treatment) which received 5 g/day chromium methionine from week 5 prior to parturition until 12 weeks ...

Effects of Rumen-Protected Methionine on Dairy Performance and Amino Acid Metabolism in Lactating Cows

Problem statement: Free Met as one of the most limiting AA in dairy cows would be mostly degraded in the rumen. This study was to determine the effect of different levels of RumenProtected Met (RPMet) on dairy performance and serum amino acid metabolism. Approach: Thirtysix Holstein cows in similar condition were randomly assigned to six experimental treatments with six replicates each. Levels ...
